Inside Sales Representative
gomembers, Inc. is the leading provider of comprehensive software and technology solutions designed to meet the needs of member-based organizations and the needs of the meetings and convention industries.

We are currently seeking experienced Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) in our Chicago, IL office.  This position is focused on building relationships and engraining themselves in the business of our customers. Through a consultative approach to sales, the ISR will focus on increasing the customer base and increasing the buying volume of established customers.  The ISR will provide outstanding customer service while driving sales through strong customer relationships and proactive account management. The ISR will work in partnership with Outside Sales Representatives to take a strategic sales approach and act as an extension of their customers IT department. This is a commission-based position.

Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Generating sales leads through cold- and warm-calling.
  • Advancing prospects through the sales cycle
  • Provide consultation to customers regarding the purchase of both gomembers’ software and hardware products
  • Educate customers on the value and necessity of licensing solutions and preferred support agreements (PSA)
  • Present and market gomembers’ customer centric software model
  • Market and leverage our Microsoft partnerships to ensure best value, pricing and support for customers
  • Work with internal sales teams and operational groups to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Attend product training as required
  • Maintain a stellar relationship with peers and the Inside Sales team

Experience/Education
 

  • Minimum of a Jr. College degree
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in a sales position or in the Technology industry preferred
