We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager/Supervisor at our Herndon, VA location. We are making an investment in our growing infrastructure, standard operating procedure, and implementing, upgrading and maintaining our environment.
Primary Duties
	• Manage 3-5 staff members • Manage a zero downtime environment • Document policies and procedures and enforce them throughout the organization • Prepare diagrams and update them as appropriate for the internal network infrastructure and the 2 remote hosting centers • Work with customers and internal staff to identify IT solutions and then manage the implementation of those solutions • Work with outside vendors and negotiate agreements • Work with customers to provide IT solutions • Weekend and Evening work may be required
Qualifications
	• 5 or more years experience managing IT service environments, internally and externally • 3 or more years handling level 3 IT situations, including a zero downtime environment • Experience managing 3-5 staff members • Extensive experience with various operating systems including: Windows XP; NT 2000 and 2003; Citrix; Unix • Experience with multiple domain environments • Web server administration experience • Experience in configuring firewalls, routers and switches and configuring for virus protection • Detailed operational knowledge of IP networks, Cisco routers and switches, and Windows 2003 servers, Citrix servers, Exchange servers, and DNS/DHCP
