Q-Commerce is the e-Commerce solution offered in Q. It consists
of web-based membership, subscription, meetings, committees, order
entry, fundraising, shopping cart, credit card authorization, and
constituent name address and demographic, category code updates.
Q-Commerce Web tools are tightly integrated with Q-CRM in order
to share business rules and a common database. Q-commerce is the
solution which empowers memberships, by giving them the tools to
manage their information and conduct business with associations
electronically. Q-Commerce is an integrated set of tools (business
objects), applications and Web Services. Not-for-profits use Q-Commerce
to develop world-class vertical portal sites. These tools, applications
and Web Services can be used individually or collectively to provide
a robust on-line experience for constituents and members.
Q-Commerce Web transactions are immediately written into the holding
area of the Q-CRM database. So there is never any data entry duplication.
Through use of a "shopping cart" model, Q-Commerce enables
constituents to make purchases across all of Q-CRM’s transaction
based modules with a single credit card payment. Q-Commerce Web
transactions can be reviewed, edited; ensuring each appropriate
module along with cash receipts is accurately maintained. This degree
of integration and immediate feedback improves the customer’s
experience and reduces the association’s workload.
