Prerequisites:
Attending the Constituents course is required prior to
attending the Membership Setup course.
Description:
Set-Up (day one): The Membership Setup course is
designed to give Managers a practical overview of set-up. Classes
will review the procedures used to set-up membership, classes, codes,
types, the control table, and templates. Discussions will also take
place on best practices for Membership Set-up. Students will learn
to prorate dues.
Processing (day two): Students
will apply basic membership concepts with hands-on module training.
Each student will learn best practices for handling common membership
issues such as payment adjustments and renewal processing. Classes
will learn to add, update, adjust, transfer, cancel, and delete
a membership. Students will enter and apply payments, perform renewals,
locate members, and process renewals. Students will also learn about
the membership screen layout, the membership menus, inquiry functions,
templates, and subscriptions.
